Dressage Master audios help you to learn your tests
... and to remember them!
How to make the best use of this learning-aid:
- Sit down in a quiet place with the arena plan in front of you and the audio ready to play.
- Listen to the audio several times, drawing out the track of the movements on the arena plan as the test is called.
- As you learn your test, listening to the audio, the metronome beat will train your sub-conscious to remember the right movement to do, at the right place, at the right time.
- Visualize yourself riding through the test; feel your horse responding to your aids as the movements flow by.
Keep your study sessions to no more than 20 minutes.
Relax and do something else before coming back and running through it again.
When you feel you have mastered the test, listen to the audio while you ride it through on your horse.
Remember - it is you who must learn the test - not your horse!
Several tests learned this way can be stored in your memory, ready for easy retrieval. Individual tests can be quickly revised by listening again to the recording before entering the arena or between riding different tests.
